 Background

The Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Education Personnel is a juristic entity under the Ministry of Education, established according to the Teachers and Educational Personnel Council Act B.E.2546 which was announced in the Royal Gazette dated 11th April B.E.2546. It is administrated by the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Education Personnel with the aim to promote the welfare, well-being, rights and benefits and security of education professionals and educators. In addition, the objectives of the Office of the Welfare Promotion Commission for Teachers and Education Personnel, in accordance with its mission, include the promotion of unity, dignity and research studies in order to develop the teaching performance and support for the provision of the teaching and learning media and educational equipment. Finally, it is hoped that teachers and education personnel will have security in their careers and can devote themselves to performing their duties so that they may effectively enhance the quality of education.
